In the contemporary ITS industry, where many technologies converge, traditional methods of powering, grounding and protecting leave cable plant vulnerable. The course will address the importance of grounding for lightning mitigation, equipment performance and life safety.

You will learn detailed information regarding grounding techniques of electrical and telecommunications grounding systems, focusing on how the cabling installation affect on-site equipment operation. You will also learn proven test methods to assist in uncovering most, if not all, grounding problems that are encountered in the field.
